The Inter-American Institute for Cooperation and Agriculture is a key partner to the success of PISLM initiatives in Dominica. The ICA has led several projects in collaboration with the Division of Agriculture which has positively impacted many farmers and other stakeholders. One of these is the integration of Sustainable Land Management (SLM) technologies in Agriculture. One of the products of this initiative is the Manual of SLM Technologies for Agriculture. This manual is intended to be a guide for the implementation of standard soil and land management (SLM) technologies that address the identified limitations on farmlands. It is directed for use by technical officers and other trained personnel tasked with the planning, supervision, and implementation of SLM technologies within jurisdictions with similar conditions to Dominica.
